Virginia passed away on May 13, 2024 in her hometown of Dallas, TX, leaving behind a legacy that will forever engraved in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know.

Born on August 24, 1942, in Dallas, TX, Virginia’s journey was marked by warmth, joy, and an unwavering dedication to her family. Her vibrant personality, characterized by her fun-loving spirit and boundless affection for others, brought light into the lives of all fortunate enough to cross her path.

Virginia found solace and joy in simple pleasures such as dancing and exploring new destinations through her love for traveling. These passions reflected her zest for life and served as a reminder of her adventurous soul.

Throughout her career in the insurance industry, Virginia’s proudest accomplishments were centered around her family. She poured her heart into nurturing relationships and creating lasting memories with loved ones. Her unconditional love knew no bounds, and she treasured every moment spent surrounded by family members.

A visitation to honor Virginia’s life will be held on May 23, 2024, at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Following this, a funeral service will take place on May 24, 2024, at the Church of the Living God PGT Temple #1 – 2610 E. Ledbetter – Dallas, Tx at 11:00 AM. These gatherings aim to celebrate Virginia’s remarkable journey and offer comfort to those mourning her loss.

Virginia Canady will be deeply missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing her. As we bid farewell to a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend, and colleague, let us carry forward her legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to family.

May she rest in peace knowing that she was truly loved and that her memory will live on in our hearts forever.
