Annual AIDS Walk held

Several area activists and community ambassadors were honored during the 14th Annual AIDS WALK SOUTH DALLAS, in Dallas on Saturday.

Led by President and CEO Pastor Antjuan “Mr. Community” Wiley, the event, “Community Connection,” was held in partnership with the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center.

The Light and Leadership Ambassador Award recipients were: Te’Quan Penny, Nathaniel L. Hockey, and Rob and Julie Minioloff. Additionally, the Community Ambassador Award recipients were: State Rep. Venton Jones (D-Dallas), and Jasper Lightsey, also known as “Miss Wanda.” Entrepreneur WaNessa Bradley Monk was presented with the Faith Ambassador Award.
