Ann Scales is the director of media relations at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. A former Director of communications at Boston Public Health Commission, former Director of communications at the University of Massachusetts President’s Office, and former White House Correspondent and Style Editor/Living Editor at The Boston Globe; Ann hails from St. Louis where she attended Beaumont High. She studied political science and journalism at Macalester College. A dynamic reporter and writer, Ann Scales does not play.
