JARVIS CHRISTIAN COLLEGE TO HOST VIRTUAL ‘UNITY IN THE COMMUNITY’ PRAYER SERVICE

UNITY IN THE COMMUNITY

(Hawkins, Texas) — Jarvis Christian College is hosting a “Unity in the Community” virtual prayer service at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 15, celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The free event is open to the public and will feature guest speakers and performances.

Registration to receive the Zoom link for attending the streaming service online can be obtained by calling (430) 247-1479 or by filling out an online attendance form at https://forms.office.com/r/QwBDTmNV9Z . Registration deadline is by end of day Wednesday, January 12.

King’s life and legacy was for advocating for fairness and equality for all citizens through powerful, prayerful and peaceful protest.
