YVONDA NICOLE BROUSSARD
Yvonda Nicole Edwards Broussard (Vonda), 30, of Arlington, TX passed away on February 3, 2023. Her young vibrant spirit encountered an untimely death. Vonda was born on September 2, 1992 in Arlington, TX to parents Matthew James Edwards and Annette Gordon Edwards.  After graduating from Summit High School she went on to attend Le Cordon Bleu College from which she received an Associate’s Degree. Prior to receiving her degree, she completed an internship at Stephan Pyles restaurant. Vonda  a sought- after pastry chef/baker with a passion for creating unique desserts. Her amazing desserts were not only beautifully crafted the taste was like a gift from heaven. She worked at several entities and was praised for her talents and her easy-going personality. Vonda’s artistry proved she had what it takes to be an entrepreneur and she pursued running her own private bakery called “IN THE MIX”. On January 3, 2022 Vonda married Akili Jamaal Broussard and are parents to one daughter Audri Lynn Broussard. Vonda took pride in raising Audri and they will share a special bond forever. Vonda was a life- long resident of Arlington, TX. Vonda enjoyed baking, spending time with friends ,family, listening to music and watching movies on the couch. Her favorite past time was watching and critiquing cooking shows. She is proceeded in death by grandparents Audrey Mae Gordon, Herbert Sydney Gordon and Frederick Edwards. She is survived by her husband Akili Broussard, daughter Audri Lynn Broussard, parents Matthew James Edwards and Annette Gordon Edwards, sisters Shaniqua Smither (Braylon) and Kortni Edwards, grandmother Eva Dee Edwards, her in laws Victor (Tonya) Lavine, Mataius, Ziah, ZeMaya Lavine, her sweet Yorkshire Terrier “Bella” and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
