Renita D. Young is the account director at Bear Icebox Communications. An accomplished journalist, she is a Les Brown-certified speaker and has facilitated workshops and moderated panels for organizations such as Zillow Group, the Federal Reserve of Atlanta, FinCon (four consecutive years), the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ), Higher Heights for America PAC alongside the 2024 Democratic National Convention, Roosevelt University and the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation. Renita, a native Chicagoan, is also an adjunct professor at Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, Media, Integrated Marketing Communications, and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from DePaul and an M.S. in Journalism from Northwestern University.
