Carla Berry Vaughn hails from Tulsa, Ok, where she attended Booker T. Washington High School. After graduation, she attended Michigan State University, where she joined Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and majored in advertising, and then entered the Executive MBA program at Villanova University. Her impressive portfolio includes stints at TelevisaUnivision, Insperity, SiriusXM, Vericast, Valassis, The Dallas Morning News, Knight Ridder, and Young & Rubicam, Ross Roy, J. Walter Thompson, Beber Silverstein, Tinsley Advertising. A dedicated community servant. She is a board member of Our Friends Place, and has also been a member of the Alliance for Women in Media, and Volunteers of America-Texas.
