V.I. Delegate to Congress Stacey Plaskett and her running mate, Senate President Milton Potter, earned a decisive victory in the Democratic primary, paving the way for Plaskett to become the territory’s first female governor if she wins the general election in November.
Dozens of campaign staff and volunteers began celebrating at the St. Thomas headquarters as soon as early voting results were announced Saturday night, and the party really kicked off when Plaskett arrived with husband Jonathan Buckney-Small.
