It is with deep respect and heartfelt remembrance that we announce the passing of Shelia Lockett, who departed this life on August 18, 2026, in Garland, Texas. Born on February 27, 1962, in Dallas, Texas, SHEILA’s journey was marked by resilience, compassion, and a lasting connection to her community.

SHEILA LOCKETT’s life began and was deeply rooted in the Dallas area, where she spent her formative years and built meaningful relationships. Throughout her lifetime, SHEILA was known for her dedication to those around her and her enduring spirit. She carried her warmth, kindness, and generosity into every chapter of her life, offering encouragement and care to all who knew her.

Though details of her career, interests, and milestones are held dearly by those closest to her, it is clear that SHEILA touched many lives with her sincerity and unwavering support. Her presence will be deeply missed and her memory cherished by the community that surrounded her.

Family, friends, and all whose lives SHEILA enriched are invited to join in honoring her life and legacy. A Funeral Service will be held on September 3, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas (ALLENE), located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. Following the service, a Burial will take place at Mountain Creek Cemetery, 2099 Hardy Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75051.

As we gather to bid farewell, we remember SHEILA LOCKETT for the dignity, kindness, and strength she exemplified throughout her life. Her legacy endures in the hearts of all who knew her, and her spirit remains a guiding light to those who continue her memory.
