OBIT: RICKEY EDWARD JONES

Rickey Edward Jones, born on November 15, 1963, left this world on February 19, 2026. He was a beloved father, son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend whose vibrant personality and infectious laughter touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Rickey was known for his outgoing nature and his unrivaled ability to make those around him smile. Always ready with a joke or a humorous story, he had a knack for bringing joy to any gathering. His adventurous spirit led him to explore many experiences and forge unforgettable memories with those he held dear.

Throughout his life, Rickey exemplified what it meant to be dedicated to family and friends. He nurtured deep connections, and his presence will be profoundly missed by all who loved him.

A viewing will be held in his honor on March 4, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. A funeral service celebrating his life will take place the following day, March 5, 2026, at 1:00 PM, at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas in the John Chapel.

As we reflect on Rickey’s life, let us remember the laughter, the adventures, and the love that he shared so generously. Though he has departed from this earth, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift those he leaves behind.
