Daniel Davon Nelson, age 28, passed away on May 24, 2026, in Dallas, TX.

Born on March 31, 1998, in Saginaw, MI, Daniel was the beloved son of Tierney Hall & Larry Nelson Sr. From an early age, he brought joy to those around him with his kind heart, infectious smile, sense of humor, and determination.

Daniel attended Arlington High School & Dallas Community College and worked as a cook. He was known for his dedication, strong work ethic, and willingness to help others whenever needed.

He enjoyed sports, music, gaming, anime, and cooking. Whether spending time with family and friends, pursuing his passions, or simply making others laugh, Daniel lived life in a way that left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Those who knew him will remember his kindness, generosity, loyalty, strength, humor, compassion, and faith. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and love to countless lives, and his memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.

He was preceded in death by great-grandma Annie Nelson, grandparents Daniel and Cora Hall, and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving parents, Larry (Treassia) Nelson Sr. and Tierney Hall; siblings, Larry Nelson Jr, Jacquice (Howard) Hunter, Darrien Lipscomb, Bobbi Culpepper, and Taylor (TeAndre) Snow; grandparents, Regina Nelson, and Aberam Murray; aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends and loved ones who will forever hold him in their hearts.

Though his time with us was far too short, the love he shared and the memories he created will remain forever. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives he touched.
