Legendary crooner Peabo Bryson died at the age of 75 on June 2, 2026. He last performed in Dallas during The Black Academy of Arts and Letters (TBAAL) Riverfront Jazz festival on Aug. 30, 2025, actually Aug. 31, 2025, taking the stage after 1 a.m. since the festival’s schedule was thrown off due to weather.
