
Agzja Carey is an educator, entrepreneur, and community advocate whose work focuses on creating opportunities for Black youth and families. She is the founder and CEO of Crayons & Culture, a Baltimore-based education organization that provides culturally rooted learning experiences for Black youth. Carey began her community activism at age 13 and later founded Street Bid’naz, an organization focused on issues affecting Black communities. She has also worked in community engagement and education leadership and has received recognition for her activism. Carey received a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Business Management from Howard University and a Master’s Degree in Education from Johns Hopkins University.
