OBIT: Rev. Gobbel Addison Hall

The firstborn son of the late Rev. Addison Hall and Elvin Terry Hall was born November 30, 1942, in Carbondale, West Virginia.

The firstborn son of the late Rev. Addison Hall and Elvin Terry Hall was born November 30, 1942, in Carbondale, West Virginia. He departed this life on May 11, 2026, at the age of 83, He was baptized at an early age, in addition to his parents he was proceed in death by his wife Darlene Jackson-Hall, son, Samuel Hall, grandson, Tirrell Hall: Sisters, Janice Murray, Kyonne Harper, Jacqueline Smith, his grandparents, James Sr.& Nancy Terry, Henry and Dora Carter.

Gobbel attended Montgomery High School in West Virginia. He joined the military, and while in the military, he would come home & sing with the Charming Voices! He decided to pursue his career in the military for twenty-plus years. The skills he learned in the army were building and fixing cars and trucks, and he became a mason.

He bricked his parents’ and grandparents’ home; He decided to live in Texas. He leaves to mourn: Two daughters, Saun Roberts (Bobby), Naomi Hall (Fort Worth, Texas), Two sons, Dewayne Hall and Donald Hall (Fort Worth, Texas). Grandchildren, Teron Roberts (Brittany), Keith Hall (Chelsea), Samuel Hall Jr. (Jasmine), 12 great grandchildren: Three sisters, Linda Morrison (Philadelphia, Pa.), Zelma Hall, Grovetown, Georgia, Kay James (Rev. Herman), London, WV. 6 Brothers: Preston Hall, Dunbar, WV. James Hall (Michele) Neptune, N J., Frankie Hall (Jean) St. Albans, WV, Rev. Richie Hall (Ethel) Cincinnati, Ohio, Joseph Murray (Regina) London, WV, Vincent Hall, Dunbar, WV, many nieces and Nephews and friends.
