Irish Watson is a true servant leader. One of her most proud accomplishments was serving as a volunteer contributor at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center, consistently for over 20 years. Serving in several roles, Irish works with City Men Cook and events hosted by the African American Museum. She also assisted in organizing the entertainment segment for the City of Grand Prairie Annual Juneteenth Festival and chairing the Texas Black Invitational Rodeo. Irish is the owner of WOW! ” IF LOOKS COULD KILL” HAIR STUDIO, where she is about to celebrate 25 years. She sees her business as another part of her servant ministry. Irish has dedicated her life to improving her community by keeping the community informed, involved, and encouraging everyone to exercise their voting rights. She also supports and works on numerous political campaigns.
