It is with deep respect and heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Algie Rita Lawrence, who left us on April 14, 2026. Born on September 19, 1936, Algie Rita graced this world with a vivacious spirit that touched the lives of many.

Algie Rita was a remarkable woman—outgoing and endowed with a sharp sense of humor, she had an extraordinary ability to bring light and laughter to any room. Her great sense of style was complemented by her beautiful singing voice, both of which showcased her vibrant personality. Known for her strong character and unwavering resolve, she believed in the importance of order and cleanliness, ensuring that everything was always in its rightful place.

A devoted member of the Concord Church, Algie Rita served with dedication on the hospitality team, reflecting her generous spirit and commitment to her faith community. Her role there was just one facet of her life defined by service and warmth.

She was a cherished Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt, Sister-in-Law, Cousin, and Friend—a title for every relationship she embraced with love and care. The strength of her presence will be missed deeply by all who had the privilege to know her.

Visitation for Algie Rita Lawrence will be held on April 23, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224. Her funeral service will follow on April 24, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Concord Church, 6808 Pastor Bailey Drive, Dallas, TX 75237
