It is with sadness that we share that Grand Prairie City Councilman Mike Del Bosque has passed away. The cause of death is unknown at this time.

Councilman Del Bosque was elected to represent District 3 in 2017 and spent years serving the Grand Prairie community. A lifelong resident of the city, he was also an entrepreneur, mentor, and supporter of many local organizations, including the YMCA, LULAC, and several youth programs. Through the Del Bosque Family scholarship, he helped dozens of students pursue their education.

He is survived by his children, Victoria and Michael, along with his parents and siblings.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Del Bosque family and all who knew and loved him.
