OBIT: HOWARD WAYNE TURNER

Howard Wayne Turner, born on July 4, 1962, in Stamford, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was a son, brother, and cherished friend whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many throughout his time with us.

Howard was known for his deep love of family gatherings. His home was often filled with laughter, warmth, and the tantalizing aromas of his culinary creations. A passionate cook, he took great pleasure in preparing meals that brought joy to those around him. Whether it was a holiday celebration or a simple get-together, Howard’s contributions to the table were always a highlight, and his culinary talents were appreciated by all.

In addition to his love for cooking, Howard had a zest for life that was evident in his passion for dancing. His lively spirit would often take center stage at family events, where he would encourage others to join in the celebration. His infectious enthusiasm and the joy he found in the rhythm of music will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Howard’s memory will be honored through a viewing at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Fort Worth, Texas, on February 12, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a funeral service on February 13, 2026, at Pilgrim Rest Valley Missionary Baptist Church, beginning at 11:00 AM. Friends, family, and all who were touched by Howard’s life are invited to come together to pay their respects and celebrate a remarkable individual who enriched the lives of so many.

As we reflect on the legacy of Howard Wayne Turner, we remember a person who embodied kindness, joy, and an unwavering commitment to family. He leaves behind fond memories and a lasting impact on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
