Veta McNeill-Best hails from Oxford, North Carolina, and attended Hillside High School. A member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., she attended Howard University and is a member of the Howard University Alumni Association. Retired from State Employees Association, she was a financial analyst. Veta is a community servant, a born leader, and a team player. She believes in honoring her commitments and accepting responsibility.
