Kindred Stories is a community-centered bookstore celebrating Black literature in all its richness and variety. Every book features a Black author or marginalized voice, and each display highlights the beauty of Black storytelling.
Founded in 2021 during a time of change, the space continues to thrive thanks to a supportive community that recognizes its importance. Located in Houston’s Third Ward, Kindred Stories welcomes all. Membership is open—visit their website to join.
