
Dr. Usamah Rodgers began her academic journey at Missouri State University, earning a B.S. in Elementary Education, then she earned a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration and Doctor of Education from the University of Texas at Austin. During her time at MSU, she became a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., served as Woods House dorm president, and was awarded the Minority Leadership Scholarship. She is an educator and servant, including her service as deputy chief in Texas’ second-largest school district. Guided by her belief to “bloom where you’re planted.” Dr. Rodgers empowers students and staff to reach their fullest potential, and for her efforts she is highly respected in the community.
