Two for the Price of Life

N’kole Bryant is a five-year breast cancer survivor. She shared her story of a pain that wouldn’t go away which led to her diagnosis. That pain, turned to purpose, has led her on a mission to influence others to get mammograms. Bryant’s second annual event, Mammos & Margs at Pan African Connection on Oct. 12 in Dallas, was full of resources, friendly faces and expert counsel, and of course, margaritas, to toast in an afternoon of discovery to save lives. Two breasts. One life. Tons of support. Kudos to N’kole on staying the course for the betterment of our communities.
