I have said repeatedly that Black folk are not monolithic. We don’t all know each other nor do we all share the same opinions.
In this political climate, however, it is imperative that we not become tone deaf to the fact that we can’t afford to stand on ceremony.
If you are Black Republican or Conservative or whatever, this Presidential race has much more than race gender and party issues, the issues of who are now and who will we be if Donald John Trump is allowed to be President again.
If ever we needed a we the people concern rather than an I am concern, it is now!
I have listened with open mind to the argument about the econom, and I agree, it sucks, but single issue politics is not something Black folk have the luxury of being engaged in.
Do we become dollar wise and penny foolish?
Do we risk finding ourselves all dressed up with no where to go?
Trust me, I long stopped voting for my skin folks because they aren’t always my kinfolks, but when you have a choice that is so imminently clear, you to go with it!
Donald Trump is a clear and present danger to America and Americans of all persuasions!
Trump makes his own best case for keeping him citizen Trump.
Now I already know some white voters don’t care about policy or issues because they can’t see past their racism.
We need plans not concepts, vision instead of venom, hand up instead of hand outs, concern rather than callous disregard While I agree that it’s your thing Make your thing our best effort Frankly Speaking it’s not about Kamala being Black; it’s her being different.
