Many gathered on Sept. 13, 2024 at a beautifully decorated home in Dallas’ Kessler Park neighborhood in celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month, which begins on Sept. 15, and to celebrate tennis legend Rosemary “Rosie” Casals. Food and drinks were flowing during the Hispanic Communicators DFW Lifetime Achievement Celebration event saluting Casals. Tacos and quesadillas were freshly prepared onsite. Live music entertainment kept the mood energized as well. It was a grand affair with great weather as guests occupied indoor and outdoor spaces of the home. Attendees were excited to meet and greet America’s “First Hispanic Lady of Women’s Tennis.”
