Markisha Banks, a beloved member of the Dallas community, passed away on July 28, 2024. She was known for her bubbly personality and always had a contagious smile that brightened the days of those around her.

Born on May 16, 1981, in Dallas, TX, Markisha’s passion for cooking was evident to all who knew her. Her proudest accomplishments included her love for preparing delicious meals for everyone and overcoming medical challenges against all odds.

Markisha will be dearly missed by her surviving family and friends, who will forever cherish the memories they shared with her.

A viewing in memory of Markisha Banks will be held on August 5, 2024, at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas in Dallas, TX, starting at 12:00 PM and ending at 7:00 PM. The funeral service will take place the following day, August 6, 2024, at the same location starting at 11:00 AM and concluding at 12:00 PM.

Markisha’s departure has left a void in the hearts of all who knew her. Her kindness, warmth, and resilient spirit will be remembered fondly by all. May she rest in peace knowing she touched the lives of many with her love and positivity.
