The Sunrise of an illustrious life began on May 8, 1978, in Dallas, Texas. James Dansby Hall was the first child and only son born to Carlton and the late Nancy Cooper Hall.
James inherited a rich legacy of faith, family, character, leadership and entrepreneurship from his family. His belief in God was strong and absolute. James believed in the redemption of mankind only through the blood of Jesus Christ.
According to the profession of his own faith, and rededication to his belief in Almighty God, he was formally baptized at Glory of Zion of Corinth, Texas under the leadership of Pastor Chuck Pierre on May 12, 2024.
James received his formal education in the Dallas Independent School public school system. He attended John W. Runyon Elementary School, Henry W. Longfellow Middle School, Graduating from Skyline High School in 1996. He furthered his education at the University of North Texas, Denton, Texas obtaining a Bachelor of Science with a focus in Business Administration.
James was a proud man. He enjoyed life and the fullness thereof. James never met a stranger and was blessed with a natural popularity. Being the first son and eldest, he was the benefactor of unconditional love and adoration from his parents and family. This was a love that he gave back to his only daughter, Semajé. He possessed an ability to lead, and to make strangers feel like friends.
James was an entrepreneur and followed in the Henderson/ Hall family footsteps in the restaurant business. He had many innovative ideas and was an asset to the Hall Chicken Family business.
As the word of God is forever true that it is appointed to man to die once, James responded to the eternal call of death on July 11, 2024.
