The pink and green cowboy chic party bus curated by event planner Lesia Ramsey was rolling on July 7, 2024 and had Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated sisters rolling with laughter!

“What happens on the bus stays on the bus!” Ramsey shared in her onboard public announcement.

Through her company, Extravagant Events, Ramsey is known for her signature party bus event offering. Attendees were treated to and experienced multiple unknown stops with photo shoots, shopping and chocolate.

The experience provided riders who were in town for the 71st Boule the opportunity to check out various spots of interest throughout the metroplex.

The party bus picked up attendees at the Renaissance Hotel in Addison. It then transported them to the Ford Center in Frisco where Dallas-based photographer Jay Chatmon was waiting to capture images of the women on the turf outside of the Dallas Cowboys’ practice facility. Additional stops included shopping at high-end stores at Legacy West in Plano and a visit to Chocolate Secrets in Dallas before dropping riders off at the Omni Hotel in time for the sorority’s public meeting.

This experience that Ramsey creates involves a coordinated effort that allows several businesses the opportunity to prosper. With over 20,000 sorority members in town, many companies and entrepreneurs should feel the economic impact for a while.
