Akua Cosby is experienced in instruction and curriculum, policy & procedure formation, program implementation, and training/development. Akua received her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Kansas State University, Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from MidAmerica Nazarene University, and she is currently on track to receive her Doctor of Education in Learning and Organizational Change from Baylor University. Akua has also participated in the Leadership and Management Academy at Dallas College. She has worked as a Smart Justice Practitioner and Professional Development Trainer for Dallas County, as a Mental Health Navigator for MHMR of Tarrant County, as a Program Provider for Kansas State Parole Officer, as a Facilitator and Officer for Tarrant County Adult Probation, and Foster Care Clinical Therapeutic Supervisor/Therapist at Youth Villages.
