Bishop Jeffery D. Thomas, Sr. is the Senior Pastor of the Mt. Rose Church of Dallas for 33 years. Bishop Thomas is a dynamic preacher who preaches the uncompromising Word of God with a passion for the people he leads. This humble servant leads a congregation of born again believers into a position where they can obtain spiritual gifts God has promised to His children. God has equipped him with the power of the Holy Ghost to stand, proclaim, and deliver the Word of God.

When our world was hit with a global pandemic in March 2020, Bishop Thomas was instructed by God to rest, rise, and release the Word of God as he was guided by the Holy Spirit to lead the church through this difficult season.

During this time, his first book was conceived and will be birthed soon.

The book titled, “In the Year of Covid, I Saw the Lord”, will be exclusively released on his birthday Thursday, April 4, 2024 at the J.D. Thomas, Sr. Activity Center.

7151 Field View Lane Dallas, TX 75249.

This event is open to the public. Books will be available for purchase during this time.

Our favorite quote from this book is, “The prescription for peace is keeping your mind stayed on Him!”
