Cassandra Annette Alexander, beloved daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother, passed away on December 24, 2023, in Desoto, Texas. Born on September 16, 1963, in Dallas, Texas, Cassandra’s journey through life was one filled with love, laughter, and a zest for adventure that captivated all those around her.

Cassandra, known for her vibrant personality and love for fun, never failed to bring joy wherever she went. Her street knowledge was unparalleled, and her ability to connect deeply with others was a testament to her warm and caring nature. Whether it was through a kind word or a playful smile, Cassandra had a way of making everyone she encountered feel valued and loved.

Throughout her life, Cassandra formed deep bonds with her family and friends. She cherished these relationships dearly and always made an effort to strengthen the connections that brought her so much happiness. Joining her parents Beverly Kay Bables Alexander and Randell Alexander in eternal rest are James and Mary Alexander, Clinton Alexander (son) and Darnell Alexander (grandson).

Cassandra is survived by her loving children Shemica Alexander and Quasar Alexander. She leaves behind her siblings: Randell Alexander, Stanley Alexander, Curtis Alexander, Lonnette Alexander, and Charles Alexander. Their shared memories will forever be intertwined with the moments of joy they experienced together as a family.

In addition to her immediate family members, Cassandra had numerous fraternal siblings who held a special place in her heart. Their unwavering support and love meant the world to Cassandra throughout her life’s journey. She was also blessed with the love of her grandparent Audrey Bables-Tuggle.

Cassandra’s legacy lives on through the generations she nurtured. Her eleven grandchildren carry within them the love and wisdom she imparted upon them. They will forever cherish the memories they shared with their beloved “Granny.” Furthermore, Cassandra’s fourteen great-grandchildren who call her “Wookie” will grow up hearing stories of her infectious laughter and the way she always lit up a room.

To honor Cassandra’s remarkable life, a visitation will be held on January 5, 2024, from 11:00 am to 5:30 pm; followed by a wake from 6:00pm – 7:00pm at the Golden Gate Funeral Home and A Crematory in Dallas, Texas. Friends and loved ones are welcome to attend this special time of remembrance.  Celebration of Life service will take place on January 6, 2024, from 1:00 pm at Greater Mt Hebron Bible Church located at 2335 56th St in Dallas. This event will serve as a tribute to Cassandra’s love for life and the indelible mark she left on those around her.

Cassandra Annette Alexander leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and the importance of cherishing every precious moment. Though she may no longer be with us physically, her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her. As we gather together to remember and celebrate her extraordinary life, let us find solace in the memories we shared and carry her love with us always.
