Henrietta “Tiny” Hancock was born in Corsicana, TX to Don Johnson and Betty Nell Johnson on July 7, 1956. She attended school in the Dallas Independent School District, and graduated from Lincoln High School, Class of 1974. She also attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX.

Tiny, loved spending time with her siblings, children, family, friends and especially her grandchildren. Tiny was a faithful neighbor and a friend to all she encountered. Tiny was always a joy to be around, gave the best advice, always fashionable, dependable and loved Erykah Badu and 2Pac.

Tiny loved the Lord and you could see the love of God in her and through her. Over the years, Tiny attended Friendship West Baptist Church, Cornerstone Baptist Church, Encouraging Word Bible Fellowship and attended church virtually until she fell ill.

Tiny worked in Customer Service for 35+ years always providing a beautiful smile, pleasant demeanor, a soothing voice and a listening ear.

On Wednesday, September 27, 2023, God whispered to Henrietta “Come Home my good and faithful servant!” Henrietta is proceeded in death by her parents, Don Johnson and Betty Nell Johnson, 3 brothers, Don Johnson Jr, Willie Earl Johnson and Tyrone Holland and fiance Victor LaVigne.

Those left to cherish her memory and continue her legacy; her three children; Bealie Damon Hancock (Chaslyn), Shyra Gort (Torrance) and Chelsi Hancock (Terrance); six grandchildren; Sanai Gort, Torrance “TJ” Gort, Bealie Daeson Hancock, Taya Empy, Terrance “T2” Bollin II, and Trinity Bollin; her brother Oscar Johnson, sisters Aline Johnson and Cathy Jones and Aunt Shirley Harvey; a special niece/daughter Laura Bryant; as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Henrietta “Tiny” was deeply loved and will truly missed by all who knew her.
