The State Fair of Texas, held in Dallas, is a tradition that people travel from around the world to attend but with this year’s cancellation due to COVID; for the first time in history since World War II the fair grounds will be empty.

But, fairgoers might just be in luck with the next best thing.

Statler Hotel is hosting a fair right inside their establishment to keep the traditions alive. This will be the last weekend to get in all the fun. Events will run from September 18 to September 20.

Statler Hotel transformed their 12,000 square foot ballroom into a fair for the attendees to be transported right into buying cotton candy and playing games to hopefully win a teddy bear.

The event will feature artistic build-out activations such as a buttered Elvis and Cotton Candy Corral, kids’ activities, games, food and drink tastings, and more,” according to promotions.

Tickets will be $10 for anyone who is seven and older and free for anyone under the age of six.
