Ollie was born on November 9, 1942 to Fredonia and R. L. Johnson in Centerville, TX. After graduating from Centerville High School and attending one year at Texas Southern University, on August 25, 1964, Ollie married his childhood friend and high school sweetheart, Barbara Henry, in Dallas, TX. From there he was the proud father of two boys, Dwight and Anthony, a successful business owner and an insurance agent until retirement. He was a dedicated family man who loved family activities, music, and good backyard BBQ.

Ollie Stell Johnson, passed away with family at his bedside, on Thursday, July 13, 2023 from aged related medical issues and hemo-dialysis. Ollie was welcomed into his eternal home by his wife, Barbara Johnson and youngest son, Anthony.

He was survived by his oldest son, Dwight Johnson; daughter in law, Jennifer Rice Johnson and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, family and friends.
