Eunice Jones was born to Rev. J. B. Jones Sr. and Ruth Lee Jones on April 20, 1949 in Hazlehurst, MS. She attended  and graduated high school in Hazlehurst, MS.

She accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of Mt. Olive M.B. Church in Hazlehurst under the leadership of J.B. Jones Sr. She enjoyed singing and serving the Lord with a giving heart.

After moving to Dallas, TX she continued to use the gift of singing the gospel in many churches and became a member at Greater Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church for years of servanthood.

Eunice served as a healthcare specialist for many years as it was her passion to help and serve the sick. She touched many lives with her compassion, skills, in nursing for human life. Eunice had 3 children, Towanda, Reginald (who precedes her in death), and Cherish.

She was also preceded in death by her parents Rev. J.B. Jones Sr. and Ruth Lee Jones, brothers: Charles Jones, J. B. Jones Jr., Elson Jones, Ray Jones, Curtis Jones and Sara Jones Looney.

Those who will forever cherish her beloved and precious memories are her children: Towanda and Cherish Jones of Lancaster, TX; beloved sisters: Josie Jones of New Orleans, LA, Maggie May (J.B.) of Heidelberg, MS, Catherine McIntosh and Velma Pruitt (Verdel) of Dallas, TX; beloved brothers: Rev. James Earl Jones (Linda) of Dallas, TX and Joe Jones (Ruth), Morris Jones and Rev. Robert Jones (Janice) of Hazlehurst, MS; a special friend Priscilla Simmons of Dallas, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that loved her dearly.
