Aura Lee Tucker was born on April 23, 1936 to Willie J. & Georgia Mae Wade in Troup, TX. She was the second   oldest of 10 children. She attended school in Crandall, TX. She accepted Christ at an early age. She enjoyed working in the church. She was the church mother at Greater Hope Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Elder Roosevelt Wade Sr. for 20 years. She was the backbone of the church until her health failed her.

She was employed at Silver Leaf Nursing Home and later on did private duty sitting. She loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed vacationing with her sisters and was always having them laughing, she a good sense of humor. She kept her brothers in line, hanging out with them at the flower shop. She had a kind heart, willing to help out anyone in need. She wanted all of her children to be there for each other and treat each other with love & respect. “WE ARE STRONGER TOGETHER” was her motto.

She was preceded in death by her parents Willie J and Georgia Mae Wade, her husband Clyde Tucker, sister Opal and brother Willie Edward, (1) daughter: Vivian Lee King.

Aura leaves to cherish her memories (2) daughters: Diane Thompson (Henry) of Dallas, TX and Mary Stephens (Wayne) of Garland, TX; (4) sons: Willie Terry Tolbert (Jerri) of Jacksonville, TX, Sylvester Thompson (Joyce), of Ft. Worth, TX, Vernell Wallace (April) and   Talley Ray Wallace of Dallas, TX; (3) brothers: Roosevelt Wade Sr. of Dallas, TX, Lee Wade (Julia) of Cedar Hill, TX and Roy L. Wade (Joann) of Duncanville, TX; (4) sisters: Mildred Daye of Ft. Worth, TX, Linda Gunter (Geoffrey) of Kansas City, MO, Mae Upshaw (Ike) and Vanessa Duncan of Dallas, TX; (12) grandchildren; (21) great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
