Irving Black Arts Council Exhibition

The Irving Black Arts Council (IBAC) is pleased to announce the Local Green Book “Panel Discussion” at the Irving Archives and Museum (IAM), 801 W. Irving Blvd., Irving, TX, from 2:00-400 p.m. on Sunday, November 6, 2022. The star-studded panel will be headlined by the Honorable Judge L. Clifford Davis (Retired), and Ms. Opal Lee, Grandmother of Juneteenth, and three other notable local citizens who resided in the area during the segregation and Jim Crow era.

Rounding out the panel who will share their experiences will be Mrs. Imogene W. Rogers, Bear Creek, and Irving; Mrs. Gloria O. Sights, Bear Creek, Irving, Dallas; and Ms. Mary Ann Turner Blackmon, Dallas, Lake Dallas. The facilitated panel discussion will include a period for questions and answers.
