Dallas County Focuses On Small Businesses: Commissioner Price Holds Meeting To Educate Entrepreneurs

In an effort to increase public awareness about opportunities to do business with Dallas County, Commissioner John Wiley Price held an In-Person/ Virtual Town Hall meeting at the new South Dallas Government Center.

A Dallas County team included the Office of Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Director Jesse Crawford, and Dallas County Purchasing Guidelines and Contract Opportunities Director Michael Frosch.

Dallas County has partnered with Dallas/Fort Worth Minority Supplier Development Council, Inc. (DFW MSDC), North Central Texas Regional Certification Agency (NCTRCA) and Women’s Business Council-Southwest.

The representatives from DFW MSDC, NCTRCA and Women’s Business Council talked about procurement and certification processes of doing business with Dallas County.

Dallas County aspires to increase the participation of small business in all aspects of contracting with Dallas County to include contracting with Small Business Enterprises (SBE) directly or indirectly through contracting, subcontracting, and/or other procurement activities.
