To remain protected against COVID-19, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that certain people get a booster dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine at least six months after receiving the second dose. Booster doses are only available for people who received Pfizer for their initial series of the COVID vaccine. At this time, there is not an approved booster shot for Moderna or Johnson & Johnson COVID vaccines.

You can get your Pfizer booster dose at no cost to you by visiting Parkland’s drive-through vaccination site at Ellis Davis Field House, 9191 S. Polk St., Dallas, 75232 between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday-Saturday.
