Members of The Links, Incorporated attended a special preview of Mandela: The Official Exhibition at the African American Museum, Dallas. The evening offered a powerful look at the life, leadership, and global impact of Nelson Mandela, reminding us that lasting change is often built through courage, conviction, and service. A highlight of the evening, along with a presentation by the Dallas Black Dance Theatre (with new Executive Director Kristi Patton Foster and founder Ann Williams in attendance) was the honoring of the Honorable Helen Giddings – Honorary South African Consul.According to immediate past President of the Denton Chapter of Links, Dr. Vivian Bradley-Johnson, it was “an evening of friendship, reflection, and a meaningful reminder that the stories of those who came before us continue to light the way forward.”
