It is with profound respect and heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of James Perry Broadnax, who departed this life on May 27, 2026. Born on June 21, 1936, Mr. Broadnax lived a life marked by love, kindness, and a steadfast devotion to his family.

James Perry Broadnax was known as a loving and caring individual whose happiness was often reflected in the warmth he showed to those around him. His family was central to his life, and he took great pride in fostering a home filled with love and support. His joyful spirit and family-oriented nature endeared him to many and left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

To honor his memory, a viewing will be held on June 5, 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, Texas 75224. This time will allow friends and loved ones to pay their respects and celebrate his life.

Following the viewing, a funeral service will take place on June 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at GOD’S HOLY TEMPLE, situated at 212 Ezell Drive, DeSoto, Texas 75115. The service will conclude at noon, providing a sacred occasion for family and community members to come together in remembrance.

James Perry Broadnax leaves behind a legacy of love and happiness, etched deeply into the hearts of those fortunate enough to have shared in his life. His memory will continue to inspire and comfort all who cherish him. May he rest in eternal peace.
