A devoted mother, grandmother, and sister, Cynthia’s love and strength were a guiding light to all who knew her. She is deeply loved by her children, grandchildren, siblings, and a host of other relatives and friends who survive her and carry forward her legacy of kindness and resilience.

The family will receive friends and loved ones for a viewing at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Freeway in Dallas, TX, on June 4, 2026, from 1:00 PM until 7:00 PM. This time will provide an opportunity to honor and remember Cynthia’s remarkable life.

Her funeral service will be held on June 5, 2026, at New Hope Baptist Church, 5002 South Central Expressway, Dallas, TX. The service will begin at 11:00 AM. It will be a celebration of her journey and the indelible impact she made.

Cynthia will be laid to rest at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX, on June 9, 2026. The burial will commence at 10:00 AM and conclude at 11:00 AM, providing a solemn and respectful farewell to a beloved member of the community.

Throughout her 79 years, Cynthia Louise Callaway’s grace and compassion left a lasting imprint on her family and all those privileged to know her. As those who loved her gather to say goodbye, they hold close the memories and the profound influence she had on their lives. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
