It is with profound respect and heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Ruby Nell Owens Toliver, a cherished member of the community who departed this life on May 19, 2026, in Dallas, Texas. Born on July 1, 1940, in Clarksville, Texas, Ruby Nell lived a life that reflected strength, resilience, and an enduring commitment to those around her.

Ruby Nell’s journey spanned over eight decades, a period during which she witnessed and contributed to the weaving of countless stories and memories. Her presence was a beacon of warmth and grace, touching the lives of many who had the privilege of knowing her. While specific details of her personal and professional accomplishments remain private, the legacy of her character and spirit endures in the hearts of her loved ones.

The community is invited to honor Ruby Nell’s memory through a series of services carefully arranged to celebrate her life. A Prayer Service will be held on May 29, 2026, at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas (Allene), located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224, commencing at 7:15 p.m. and concluding at 8:15 p.m. This gathering offers a moment for reflection and spiritual support.

Following this, a Funeral Service will take place on May 30, 2026, at God’s Holy Temple, situated at 212 Ezell Drive, DeSoto, TX 75115. The service will begin at 11:00 a.m.This solemn occasion provides an opportunity to collectively remember and celebrate the meaningful life that Ruby Nell led.

Ruby Nell Owens Toliver’s departure leaves an indelible void. Yet, through the memories shared and the lives she touched, her spirit will continue to inspire and comfort all who mourn her loss.
