
Taa Grays, Esq., is the President of the New York State Bar Association. She has the distinction of being the first Black woman to serve in this position. The former Assistant District Attorney for Bronx County. A native New Yorker, she graduated from St. Francis Preparatory School. She holds a juris doctor from Georgetown University and an A.B. in social studies from Harvard University, as well as cybersecurity and data privacy certifications from Harvard University and the International Association of Privacy Professionals. She has served as president, general counsel, board director, vice chair, or member of the National Bar Association, the New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct, the Iron Mountain Customer Advisory Board, and the Insurance Information Governance Roundtable.
