Suberb Woman: LaShawnda Hunter

LaShawnda Hunter is a Health Teacher/ Coach at Dallas ISD Career and Technical Education. She is the head varsity volleyball coach at Wilmer-Hutchins High School, and she also works with the Mark Cuban Center, teaching youth basketball and volleyball.

She is the head varsity volleyball coach at Wilmer-Hutchins High School, and she also works with the Mark Cuban Center, teaching youth basketball and volleyball. Previously, she taught at Duncanville High School and in Dallas County Schools. Lashawnda received her Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from Paul Quinn College, where she played on the Women’s Basketball Team and was initiated into the Theta Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She went on to Lamar University, where she received her Master’s Degree in Education.
