Dr. Michelle R. Neely is the Executive Director of Administrative Services at DeSoto Independent School District where she supports the Superintendent and Board of Trustees in developing strategic plans that enhance administrative services and benefit both schools and the community.

Dr. Michelle R. Neely is the Executive Director of Administrative Services at DeSoto Independent School District where she supports the Superintendent and Board of Trustees in developing strategic plans that enhance administrative services and benefit both schools and the community. A graduate of Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Radio and Television, she received her Master of Arts degree in Communication Arts from Southern Methodist University before going on to receive a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. She has served on the boards of BH365, GEMS Camp, Tau Chi Foundation, Los Primos Mentoring, Sankofa Mentoring Matters and ConnecTeach. A graduate of Giddings High School, she gained experience in positions with DeSoto, Dallas, and Ferris ISDs, to name a few.
