Melvin was cherished by all who knew him, and his journey from Dallas to Terrell reflects a life grounded in the values of community and family. His presence was a steady and calming influence, one that brought comfort and encouragement to those around him.

To honor his memory, a Prayer Service will be held on May 11, 2026, from 7:15 pm to 8:15 pm at the Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224. Following this, a Celebration of Life will take place at the Garza Avenue Church of Christ on May 12, 2026, from 12:00 pm at 926 Garza Avenue, Dallas, TX 75216.

Friends and acquaintances are invited to gather and reflect on the enduring impact Melvin had on their lives during these memorial services.
