Fort Worth police are investigating a shooting at a business in the 4500 block of Miller Avenue on Sunday, May 10, 2026.

Fort Worth police have arrested two men following a shooting Sunday that left a security guard dead and a woman wounded at a local restaurant.

Officers arrived at the H&J Hamburger restaurant in the 4500 block of Miller Avenue at 5:45 a.m. in response to a shooting, according to a news release. Police said they found 38-year-old Dominique Travone Coleman in the parking lot. Coleman died at the scene.

Coleman was working as a security guard after hours when he crossed the street to the restaurant, police said. Coleman was talking to a person when a confrontation occurred that led to the shooting, police said.

The woman was taken to a hospital with a non-life-threatening injury, police said.

Homicide detectives identified a suspect vehicle and executed a search warrant in Dallas County that led to the arrest of two men in connection with the shooting, police said.

A 21-year-old old was arrested and faces charges of murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon while a 46-year-old man faces a charge of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
