The passing of Pamela Jean Perkins, on April 17, 2026, in Dallas, TX, marks a profound loss for all who were fortunate to know her. Born on June 25, 1958, in Dallas, Pamela’s life was a testament to warmth, care, and dedication, qualities she embodied both personally and professionally.

A proud graduate of Bryan Adams High School, class of 1976, Pamela carried the lessons and friendships of her youth into every chapter of her life. She devoted herself to serving others as a nurse aide at Brentwood Nursing Home, where her compassionate spirit touched the hearts of residents and colleagues alike. Pamela was known for being outspoken and friendly, always ready with a kind word or a listening ear for the people in her neighborhood, the family she cherished, and the friends she held dear.

Cooking was Pamela’s special gift—her amazing culinary talents were much more than just a hobby; they were a bridge that brought people together. Sharing warm meals was not only a source of nourishment but a way Pamela expressed her love and care, creating moments of joy and connection that will be deeply missed by all who gathered around her table.

Pamela is survived by her beloved siblings: Jennett Brown, Rita Gilmore, Johnny Carraway, and Jeffery Brown, as well as her son, Michael J. Brown. The memory of those who preceded her, her mother Ella Carraway Brown and her father Jeffery Brown, remains a cherished part of her story.

Throughout her life, Pamela Jean Perkins touched countless lives with her kindness, her steadfast commitment to family and community, and her vibrant spirit. Her legacy of love and care will live on in the hearts of those who loved her and the memories they continue to hold close. We honor her life today with gratitude for the warmth and light she brought into the world, a light that will never fade.
