NAACP Bringing all ages together to build stronger communities

The Garland NAACP held the Unity in the Community – Coffee and Conversation at Kaiser Street Baptist Church. Area Pastors, congressional candidate Ruth Torres (Dist 5), NAACP members, and guests, along with the I Messenger Media & Garland Journal teams discussed upcoming events for the Spring calendar 2026.

The Garland NAACP held the Unity in the Community – Coffee and Conversation at Kaiser Street Baptist Church. Area Pastors, congressional candidate Ruth Torres (Dist 5), NAACP members, and guests, along with the I Messenger Media & Garland Journal teams discussed upcoming events for the Spring calendar 2026. They also invited non members to join the NAACP and in addition to taking advantage of empowering programming, be part of the struggle as we address many of the ills facing society.
