DALLAS, TEXAS— The T.D. Jakes Foundation (TDJF), in partnership with Operation HOPE, will host the grand opening of the T.O.R.I. Community Office on April 18, 2026, at The DEC Network near Red Bird Mall in Dallas, Texas. The milestone moment will take place alongside the T.O.R.I. Graduation Ceremony, bringing together community leaders, partners, and program participants for a full day centered on second chances, economic empowerment, and long-term transformation.

The T.O.R.I. Community Office marks a significant expansion of TDJF’s Thriving Opportunities for Returning Individuals (T.O.R.I.) program and introduces a dedicated Operation HOPE Financial Empowerment Center within the space. This collaboration enables both organizations to work in tandem to provide justice-impacted individuals and their families with access to reentry support, financial literacy education, and pathways to economic mobility.

The RedBird location will also serve as Operation HOPE’s first community office in Dallas, extending more than 30 years of proven financial empowerment resources into the community.

Chairman T.D. Jakes, TDJF President and CEO Kelley Cornish, and Operation HOPE Founder, Chairman, and CEO John Hope Bryant will all be in attendance for the day’s events, including the official ribbon cutting ceremony.

“We are not just opening a door. We are creating access to dignity, opportunity, and restoration,” said Chairman T.D. Jakes. “This space represents what is possible when purpose meets partnership and when we commit to helping people rebuild their lives with intention.”

“This is about meeting people where they are and moving them forward with real tools,” said Kelley Cornish, President and CEO of the T.D. Jakes Foundation. “By bringing reentry services and financial empowerment into one place, we are creating a pathway that leads to stability, confidence, and long-term success.”

“Financial literacy is the foundation of economic freedom,” said John Hope Bryant, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Operation HOPE. “If you want to eradicate poverty, you must teach people how money works. This partnership brings that knowledge directly into the community where it is needed most.”

The day will begin with the T.O.R.I. Graduation Ceremony, recognizing program participants who have completed their reentry journey and are prepared to move forward with renewed purpose. The evening will conclude with the official ribbon cutting ceremony and dedication of the new T.O.R.I. Community Office.

Media are invited to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony and capture this historic collaboration at the intersection of reentry, financial empowerment, and community transformation.
